IPPA's mission is to serve as one of the leading promoters of social, economic and political freedom; to promote public understanding of the principles of a free and prosperous society such as property right, the rule of law, limited government, free enterprise and tolerant; and to help foster the emergence of a society where reliance on government solutions to all social and economic problem reduces and the human mind is appreciated as the ultimate resource. .

About Us

The Initiative for Public Policy Analysis (IPPA) is Nigeria's public policy research institute or think tank. Founded in 2002, IPPA's major concern is to conduct policy-relevant researches within the principles and institutions underlying a free and open society.

IPPA engages in research and analysis on topical policy issues and always aim at bridging the evidence gap in policy debate in Africa and Nigeria. Our ultimate aim is to inform evidence based policies and we undertake a number of activities, among them research and advocacy on public policy issues and primary and secondary data
